The Grand Canyon Part 6

We were greeted by extremely friendly and welcoming native american people, the Hualapai Tribe.  They own approximately 100 million areas of land around the western ridge of the Grand Canyon.  They run the boat tours and bus tours.  The Skywalk is built, managed and operated by them as well.  Interesting fact, there is no alcohol allowed or found anywhere in this region.
The first view of the Canyon is of Eagle Point.  If you look closely at the rock formation, you can see an eagle with outstretched wings.
We all walked on the Skywalk.  No belongings including cameras are allowed on it.  Only your body....and funny slip on covers for your shoes.  The glass is only 2.5 inches thick???  I wish they hadn't told me that.  In any event, we all got on the see through glass observation deck and we were not disappointed.  We were about 4,000 feet from the Canyon bottom.....and you could clearly see everything below you!
