This was where the most spectacular views could be seen of the vast Grand Canyon. A quick meal to gain some energy and then we were off to explore. Debbie made her way down and around on the very "family friendly" walking path. She could see all the way down to the Colorado river. There are no fences. It is a very serious drop......probably going to leave a mark.
Karen and Diane took the higher, "non-family friendly," can't catch your breath trip to the very top of the peak.
I took the middle road....a bit of climbing....some path....but when it came to getting up to the peak my back couldn't do it. To be honest, it was also very precarious looking as well.
But "LOOK AT ME" Moey....found the perfect piece of solitude to enjoy the canyon.
With the 100's of people exploring, it is amazing to have pictures of our group appear like we are the only ones there.
